Jack, who is just starting out in the fishing trade, is trying to prove himself. He’s determined and tries to catch as many fish as possible to prove his worth. One day he sees Jeff with a huge fish, and is so impressed that it discourages him, thinking he’s not capable of being as good as Jeff. Jeff goes to Jack and tells him about all the years of work and experience he’s had to acquire to get to this point. He explains that you have to be patient and never compare yourself to others, because you don’t know what they’ve done or how they got to where they are today. Every journey is unique. Jeff and Jack were able to share their passion together and learn from each other.
